Veterinary Diagnostic Services (VDS) conducts disease investigation, health certification and research for the control and prevention of diseases of livestock and wildlife.

It provides assistance to Government disease surveillance programs and emergency response and supports trade and market access. The laboratory has expertise and offers diagnostic services in veterinary microbiology, bacteriology, virology, serology, histopathology and anatomical pathology.
