We all know Euthanasia is such a hard decision for a client to make, join Tracey Woods Veterinary Nurse, in learning more about the saddest moment in every pet owner’s life.
This seminar will focus on the Quality of Life Scale and when is the ‘right time’ for an owner to say goodbye to their pet, along with how to prepare a client for Euthanasia of their pet.
Vet nurses are integral in supporting the client before and after the death of their pet as well as helping staff cope with an anaesthetic death, or a traumatic emergency situation. This topic will provide tips on how to support a client and their family through the process and help them with their grief before and after they lose their beloved pet.
