In reality, UTI accounts for a fraction of these cases while more than 50% are secondary to feline idiopathic cystitis (FIC). Despite these statistics UTIs do happen in cats and this webinar will focus on feline risk factors for UTI versus FIC. The purpose is to help veterinarians to understand when a UTI workup is necessary and when the more common causes of FLUTD like FIC should remain the top differential diagnosis.
