Abdominal Imaging and the vomiting animal: MOVE 1
With the increased availability of ultrasound there is a tendency to skip abdominal radiographs for the vomiting patient BUT abdominal radiographs provide you with many useful clues about what is going on in the abdomen and whether surgery is indicated.
This practical, case-based session will review the objective guidelines for assessment of the gastrointestinal tract with radiographs, increasing your confidence about this readily accessible and affordable imaging tool.
